How I view my sleep nowadays

  • Browsing through Facebook this morning and saw a post from this “successful” influencer in Malaysia.
  • Someone asked for an advice and in the spur of the moment, his short sentence was “Work hard. Work really hard. Don’t sleep”. I think it is a bit misleading.
  • I’m assuming he was joking, or half joking. Or maybe he was serious. I don’t know.
  • What I do know that he has material wealth to prove his point. I have no issue with it, I wish him the best in his life.
  • The older I get, the more I appreciate a good, quality night sleep. It is something I strive to obtain every day.
Still saving up to spend a night here.
  • My main challenge is the same as with millions of other modern man – the temptation of gadgets and/or binge watching streaming services.
  • Occasionally I do skip a good night sleep due to work (airport pickups at midnight).
  • This would usually result in me getting groggy all day, the next day.
  • I try to lessen the effect by doing short exercise in the morning. I heard once.A 15 min bicycle ride would do the trick.
  • “He is the One Who has made the night for you as a cover, and ˹made˺ sleep for resting, and the day for rising.”

Until then, stay hungry, stay refreshed.
