Kammys Musing

• A couple of nights ago, out of the blue, this phrase kept ringing in my head.
• It says :
  • “I can’t let you smother me”
• Pretty sure its a Nirvana song but not sure which one it was.
• A few seconds on Google search and found the song.
• Lounge Act is the song title.
• Downloaded it this morning and was taken aback by the simple but catchy opening bass rhythm.
• I don’t recall enjoying the song like this before.
• Googled for the lyrics and feels like a 14 year old again – trying to memorise it.
• Only difference is back then, the lyrics we ‘conjured’ up to would have made no sense on certain parts as English is not my first language 😀
• Ahhh the joy of being young – inquisitive and adventurous.
