Remembering Ms December

Happily munching my banana choc muffin yesterday morning at work, washing it down with a tumeric latte when my colleague barged into the office and said “It’s December!:D”.

My mind snapped and started rewinding the past 11 months activities. Wow – what a year! Yes beautiful people – the past 11 months has been filled with experiences and opportunities to grow. I don’t want to wait for until January to start reminiscing.

My reading style changed; instead of buzzing through several books, I would pickup one or two and finish it from cover to cover. I am ok if I can’t finish the book; I’ll just put it down and move to the next one.

I found interest in watch collecting; not the expensive ones but the Swatch X DragonBall series. Started with the first Swatch I got in July and has added a few of the Dragonball series. They are currently my “weekend watch”.

In terms of social media consumption, I stay away from negative videos as much as possible – the cringy ones just to get likes, inciting hatred or just plain injustice. There are so many positive things to read and see online; no reason why I need to fill up my mind with garbage, useless contents.

Every now and then I will uninstall FB/IG from my phone for a week or two; feels liberating. You should try it.

A few others to think about but the best could be when we travelled back home and visited family & friends in Malaysia. Like most of the world, this is our first international travel since early 2020. Recoup time with families and old friends; managed to make new friends and visit new places.

Time is definitely the most expensive resources and what better way to spend if not with your loved ones?

Signing of with this not so flattering photo of me munching while driving at the PLUS Highway in Malaysia.

So much to eat, so little time

Stay hungry, stay safe.
